The Membership Sales and Marketing Diploma (MSM) has firmly established itself as the industry's leading sales and marketing training qualification. Module 1 - The Health & Fitness Industry
The aim of this module is to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of the fitness industry, how it has developed and what is in store for the future. The knowledge you gain from this module will be invaluable. It is essential that in the process of selling club memberships, you can also explain terms and concepts in the context of the entire health and fitness business.

Module 2 - The Fitness Concept
As a professional salesperson within the dynamic world of health and fitness, it is important that you understand, and really believe in, the product you are selling. The aim of this module is to provide you with a good working knowledge of health and fitness related issues. Selling fitness is easier once you have this understanding - knowledge is power!

Module 3 - Membership Selling Skills - Part 1
As customers become increasingly sophisticated in their needs and expectations, selling a health club membership has taken on a whole new perspective. The aim of this module is to ensure that you develop specialised fitness selling skills. Some of the techniques you will learn may be general to many industries, others are unique to health and fitness.

Module 4 - Membership Selling Skills - Part 2
This module continues to expand and explain the membership sales cycle introduced in the previous module; developing and identifying customer needs, expectations and motivations. The function and format of the club tour, objection handling and gaining agreement are all discussed in detail. As well as selling an individual membership, you may be required to make a sales presentation to a corporate client, i.e. a company local to you. The final section of this module will guide you through the corporate sales process.

Module 5 - Administration, Marketing and Customer Care
You are unlikely to attract or retain members without good administration, an effective marketing campaign and high levels of customer service. This module will ensure that you understand the importance of administration, grasp the basic principles of marketing and learn to appreciate the value of good customer service.
