Background

Steve is an experienced business manager with highly diverse and successful background spanning over 20 years in multi-disciplined leadership.  Steve’s wide range of business expertise includes financial services, retail and health & leisure.

Steve started his career in corporate finance and has a solid understanding of the financial dynamics of a wide range of business operations. After a spell managing two offshore finance centres in the Channel Islands, Steve moved to Specsavers as a board director managing their retail and store development programme. In 1996 Steve returned to the UK and harnessed an opportunity along with his co-partners to design and build a new Health, Racquets and Leisure complex. As MD Steve managed the new venture through to sale in 2000 to David Lloyd Leisure.

For the past 6 years Steve has applied his diverse rang of skills, honed in leisure and fitness by managing and developing a region of 16 fitness clubs in the north of England. His commercial talent combined with a natural passion for getting the very best out of the people and teams he manages created one of the top performing regions in the world. He gained a reputation for delivering consistent growth in membership sales, year on year revenue improvements and exceptional standards of service delivery.

Steve is an outstanding communicator who is passionate about challenging and developing people to reach their full potential. His training and coaching sessions provide a powerful mix of useable and sustainable strategies that will see individuals, teams and companies achieving more.
