Whether you love it or hate it, it's more popular than ever and the profiling team selecting the housemates have got their act together choosing some of the most exaggerated types to ensure maximum conflict under stress.
You would agree that in the first weeks the house mates appear to be enjoying each others company, are (within Big Brother standards) tolerant of each others peculiar ways and are excited about being with there many new fellow house mates. So why is it that after only a few weeks their individual stress levels are showing and their ability to tolerate each other's differences never mind adapt for each others needs has gone out the Big Brother Big Window?
This comes down to many factors including, away from friends and family, asked to perform tasks (in front of others) that are not within their comfort zone, lack of sleep, change in diet, late nights, not helped by having no way to tell the time and not having any privacy 24/7. But perhaps why we are seeing so many individuals show their most extreme 'Bad Day' is the influence of the other house mates, especially those who are psychologically opposite (and the Big Bro Profilers have done a great job of ensuring there are plenty of extremely different 'types).
Think of the Big Brother personalities.
Who would be most like you when you are under stress?

One of the first effects of stress is for people to 'revert to type'. If they or you are working hard to meet the needs of others, they/you are likely to jump right back into their/your comfort zone. This is where we start to see more of the 'Bad Day' and less of the 'Good Day' behaviours. We see fewer combinations of colour strengths and more of single colour behaviour.
Look at the 'Good Day' wheel and identify your strongest colour type and then look at how you may be appearing to others (especially under stress) on the 'Bad Day' wheel.

By recognising the symptoms and signals of stress in ourselves and our colleagues can help us quickly remedy the situation for both ourselves and others.
